ABOUT
BIO
Hello, friend. My name is Milo. I'm a storyteller/creative based out of Fresno, California, and I'm currently a Features Writer for Comic Book Resources (CBR). Presently, my goal is to break into Game Development via QA Testing or Game Design. As of now, I'm enrolled in a comprehensive Software Testing course as a means of acquiring requisite technical knowledge and ISTQB Certification. Beyond that, I'm educating myself on the technical intricacies of tangible Game Design with the help of GameMaker. Ultimately, my goal is to Creatively Direct/Write a game with a group of immensely talented individuals.
EDUCATION
I graduated in Spring 2021 from California State University, Fresno with a Bachelor of Arts in Narrative Communication. This degree is a major of my own creation and -- in essence -- taught me how to effectively tell a story. From story generation to logistical concerns to oral conveyance of an idea, and the varying perspectives of humanity that inform the way a story's told. Specifically, I took courses from MCJ, Theatre Arts, English, and Communication: MCJ covers scriptwriting and other logistical territory, Theatre Arts encompasses oral interpretation and proper conveyance of an idea, English involves story generation and creation, while Communication informs each of these by providing the varying perspectives of humanity that a story can be interpreted and written from.
